SOURCE POSTURE
Primary evidence stays within reach.
qyu prefers official registries, exchange publications, regulatory filings, and source-linked market records. Coverage and freshness vary by market and instrument.
Company identity and listings
Covered companies are resolved to canonical identities before they enter the graph. Exchange, regulator, and legal-entity identifiers are preserved so similarly named issuers are not silently merged.
Coverage is global in intent but incomplete by design. An unmatched instrument stays unmatched until a source-backed identity is established.
Filings, events, and relationships
Regulatory filings and exchange disclosures are preferred for company facts and material events. Public news can add timeliness and context, but it does not replace the primary record.
Every important relationship should retain the source that established it. Co-mentions, sector proximity, and other inferred links are disclosed as inference.
Prices and model performance
Price history and public model-book valuations use dated market observations. The interface shows the valuation date and discloses excluded or unavailable positions rather than treating missing coverage as zero.
Model performance excludes fees, tax, slippage, and intraday execution. Benchmarks are compared on shared trading dates from the same notional starting value.
Freshness and corrections
Source records carry an observation or publication date where one is available. A stale or unavailable source should remain visible as a data-quality state.
Corrections replace the affected derived view while preserving source and version history. Significant methodology or publication changes should update the public record and sitemap modification date.
